Default Customer Cancellation Rule
Unless the booking flow, House Rules, or mandatory law states otherwise, the default cancellation rules are:
- Free cancellation: you may cancel up to 24 hours before the session start time, using the local time at the sauna, for a full refund of amounts paid for the booking.
- Late cancellation: if you cancel within 24 hours of the session start time, the operator may charge a cancellation fee up to the booking price and you may receive no refund.
- No-show: if you do not attend and do not cancel in time, the operator may treat the booking as used and you may receive no refund.
Operator Cancellations and Refusals of Service
If an operator cancels a confirmed booking for reasons not caused by you, you are generally eligible for a full refund of amounts paid for that booking.
An operator may refuse service without refund where permitted by law and disclosed House Rules, for example if a customer does not meet safety, age, capacity, hygiene, arrival-time, intoxication, or conduct requirements.
Booking Changes, Refund Forms, and Timing
Some booking changes may be treated as a cancellation and new booking. Refund timing can depend on payment provider processing times, bank processing, card issuer timing, and any dispute or chargeback review.
Where a refund is approved, it is returned to the original payment method whenever possible. Partial refunds may apply where required by venue policy, package structure, or applicable law.
Saunatech Role
Saunatech provides booking, payment, and support tools. Sauna sessions and on-site services are provided by independent operators and venues. Saunatech can assist with support and case handling, while operators remain responsible for service delivery decisions.
Mandatory Rights
Nothing in this summary limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. If there is a conflict between this summary and the full Terms of Service, the full Terms of Service controls to the extent permitted by law.
